Being the lead designer for the Merry Snoopy Christmas scavenger hunt project was a fantastic opportunity that allowed me to showcase my creativity and teamwork skills. Collaborating closely with the resort's Special Event team, I was responsible for establishing the overall look, crafting the logo, and designing the book and each of its pages. While the content, mini-games, and clues were thoughtfully provided by a member of the Special Event team, I took great pride in creating the visual elements that enhanced the engaging experience for the guests.
An essential part of the project was coordinating with the Peanuts brand team to ensure that our designs adhered to the brand guidelines of the Peanuts IP franchise while utilizing the correct assets provided by them. This experience taught me the importance of maintaining brand consistency and effectively incorporating multiple brand identities, including the Marriott brand, into a single project.
Working alongside our print supplier, I explored various solutions for the postcards and stickers featured in the book, as well as the signage for the scavenger hunt placed around the resort's atrium area. The final product was well-received by resort guests, contributing to the improvement of the resort's GSS rating score. Overall, this project was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate my ability to manage various design aspects, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver a final product that enhanced the guest experience during the ICE! featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas event at Gaylord National.
